What is your role in Bible Translation (or nature of your connection to WSA)? Tell us a bit about what you do

I have been working with Wycliffe South Africa for 10 years, since 2014, as a project accountant. In simple terms, I handle the finances for the projects that are managed by Wycliffe SA. The finance team acts as the middle-man between the people on the field doing the Bible Translation and the donors. I equip the translation teams to better manage the project finances by providing accurate reports of how the money is spent. I then provide the donors with the reports to help them make critical financial decisions about the projects.

What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I enjoy hiking and listening to music.

What is something you enjoy about being part of WSA and/or Bible Translation?

I enjoy contributing to Wycliffe’s vision on a daily basis. I am passionate about salvation and I believe that every language group deserves to hear the gospel in a language that they understand so that they may be saved.
