7,396 total languages - 7.8 billion people
4,007 languages with some Scripture – 7.7 billion people (99%)
4,473 languages have Bible translation “work in progress”.
266 of the world’s 392 sign languages have started Bible translation.
36.8 million people speaking 544 languages are wanting and waiting for translation work to begin, down from 985 in 2024.
In Africa 2.5 million people speaking 109 languages are wanting and waiting for translation work to begin.
28 million people speaking 875 languages have NO Scripture access..!
