What is your background and experience? Tell us a bit about yourself
I had the privilege to be involved with Jericho Walls Int Ministry for 14 years. Our Johannesburg office served Ekhurhuleni( East Rand) and Johannesburg area where I was involved in mobilizing prayer, prayer inisiatives and praying with prayer and intercessor groups for our city. Out of our office a practical prayer training module called Luke-10-Transformation (L-10-T) was developed by Willem Joubert. God opened doors in many countries where I had the privilege of doing the training. I was also involved with Kairos and Harvesters Ministries.
What is your role in Bible Translation? Tell us a bit about what you will be doing
2025 Is the start of my journey with WSA and I am looking forward to what God has in store for me. I will be coordinating prayer between churches, intercessors and translation programs.
Tell us a bit about your family
Chris and I have been happily married since 1983. I met him at church and it was love at first sight. God blessed us with 2 wonderful children, a lovely daughter-in-law and three grandchildren who keep me young at heart.
What are some of your hobbies and interests?
My husband, Chris, and I love to ride motorbike. I love riding pillion and this is one of the best places where I sit and pray for the people and places as we go by. To relax I enjoy reading and doing the odd bit of sewing. To keep fit I gym and this year I am aiming to do a 4 day, 100 km, womens only walk which takes place in August.
What is something you enjoy/are looking forward to about being part of WSA/Bible Translation?
I am looking forward to serving God and WSA in prayer, intercession and training and to get to know everyone and grow in new relationships.
