What is your role in Bible Translation? Tell us a bit about what you do
I joined Wycliffe SA at the beginning of 2021 as the Executive Director. I lead the organisation by supporting the Leadership Team in their domain functions, and providing supervision for key role players. I am the liaison to the WSA Board, ensuring the flow of information, and assisting the Board in areas of governance, personnel, finance and translation services. I build partnerships with other stakeholders in the Bible Translation movement, as well as seeking ways to meaningfully partner with churches to take hands in the Great Commission.
Tell us a bit about your family
I've been married to Andrea since 1995, and we have 5 children separated by 13 years. We live in Benoni and attend Godfirst Benoni Church.
What are some of your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy song-writing, singing and photography. In an effort to get fitter, I participate in the weekly 5km Park Run.
What is something you enjoy about being part of WSA and/or Bible Translation?
I appreciate the partnerships and deep relationships that underpin Bible translation. I love to see the way God connects people for His transformation work in their lives. Hearing how Bible translation has impacted a community is inspiring.
