Three members of Wycliffe South Africa travelled to Namibia to attend the celebration of the successful completion of Phase 2 of the Himba Bible. On 30 September 2021, Alan Webster, Bonifacio Paulo and Mpho Tsekwa were guests of the Opuwo Pastors Forum who dedicated the oral translation of Genesis and Romans. The dedication event featured joyful speeches, songs, prayers and the handing over of 50 MP3 players -  containing all of the Himba Bible recorded so far - for distribution in the community.

The project has now transitioned to phase 3, effective 1 October 2021. The goals for this new phase are to complete oral translations of Acts, 1 and 2 Timothy, and Hebrews by September 2024.
