This Scripture and reflection is by our partner Sebastian Floor from the book of Hebrews 13:20-21. The God of peace will equip us with everything good we need to do His will; the strength, the stamina, the perseverance, the attitude, and the motivation we need to do His will.

Walk through the door that God has opened for you with confidence (Revelation 3:8)

David Morgan, one of our board members, shares this reflection from Revelation 3:8. He encourages us to hold to the Truth, and walk through that door God has placed before us with confidence that it is the door that He has made for us, and it’s under His control that door stays open through any circumstances.

This week’s favourite Scripture is by our consultant-in-training Busie Paulo, from the book of Isaiah 50:4. “We can develop wisdom and discernment about what we say to others by first listening to God”.

Whatever darkness you face cannot overcome the light of Christ (John 1:1-5)

Our favourite Scripture and motivation of the week is by Helen Cobbald, who is involved in Scripture engagement and Ethnodoxology, from the book of John 1:1-5. “Whatever darkness we walk through, whatever shadows may cross our path, it can not overcome the light that is Christ”.

For those who are feeling overwhelmed (Lamentations 3:22-23)

This week's verse is by Harry and Elsbeth Brasem, who served with Intercessors for Africa, form the book of Lamentations, 3:22-23. “So for those of you who are presently feeling overwhelmed by situations beyond your control, or feel forgotten and unloved and afraid of the future, allow Him to restore your peace, and to help you face tomorrow”.

The greatest commandment of them all is to love (1 John 4:18)

Our favourite verse of the week is from our Field Coordinator, Mpho Tsekwa, from the book of 1 John. “The greatest commandment of them all is to love, first to love God then neighbour”.

God secures the final outcome of all things (Romans 8:28)

Our Head of Finance, Hennie Blomerus, shares from the book of Romans 8:28. Be encouraged that “He the eternal God knows and secures the final outcome of all things”.

God’s love for us is like a child loved by a parent (Psalm 73:23-28)

Ansie van der Merwe, our Prayer and Information coordinator, shares a favourite passage from Psalm 73:23-28. God’s love for us is like a child loved by a parent, and “nothing on heaven or earth is more desirable and satisfying than such a walk with God”.

No amount of trouble is insurmountable to our God (Psalm 121:1-2)

Our Operation Assistant, Beaulla Mpinyuri, shares her insights on Psalm 121:1-2, reminding us that no amount of problems, nor challenges are insurmountable for our God.

Walking with God in the blazing furnace (Daniel 3:17-18)

Our Head of Translation Services, Bonifacio Paulo, shares his favourite verse from the book of Daniel, chapter 3:17-18. “Choose to walk with God in good faith and shape, and He will deliver you from any blazing furnace”.

Just like Hagar, God will not forsake you (Genesis 16:13)

Sharon Kemp, from our finance department, reflects on the amazing love and attentiveness of our God that is available to anyone who calls on Him, no matter who we are or what our story is.

Be encouraged, God is in control (Philippians 1:6)

Tshegofalo Siele, from our finance department, shares her favourite verse and motivation from Philippians 1:6.  Even when life is confusing and it's unclear what God is doing, He is in control and His plans are good.

God can do far more than what you have asked for (Ephesians 3:20-21)

God's Protection (Psalm 91:1-4)
