Angela is seconded to SIL International as part of the Translation Resources team. She creates free Biblical Greek training materials using Biblical Greek as the medium of instruction, which makes the lessons accessible to speakers of any language. The lessons are available on the YouTube channel, Alpha with Angela.
Helen's work is in Scripture Engagement and Ethnodoxology, which looks at the way different languages and cultures use the Bible and integrate it into all areas of life and community. She also heads up the Wycliffe Links initiative, which seeks to link God's people to develop Bible Translation and build capacity for mission.
Jadreque is from Nampula province in Mozambique, which is also where his role as Hub Field Coordinator for Mozambique will be conducted. Jadreque received Biblical training for four years in Zambia, and has worked in ministry ever since, first with Harvesters Ministries and now Wycliffe South Africa.
Joey Fourie came on board in July as a second Project Accountant. She is responsible to assist in equipping the translation teams to effectively manage the project finances by timeously receiving and processing financial transactions and information used to produce reports and make critical financial decisions.
Ken trains teams in oral Bible translation and Scripture engagement in Southern Africa, working especially with an unreached people group in northern Mozambique. Corine supports the family and Ken in his work and studies, keeping in touch with partners and taking care of planning and logistics for trips to Mozambique.
Marcelina started in June 2024 as the new Hub Field Coordinator for Angola. Her role will involve liaising and organising between Wycliffe South Africa and the various translation projects that are taking place in Angola, providing reports and looking for opportunities to serve language communities in the region.
Nick and Lynne worked with the Rendille in Kenya for more than 30 years. Nick continues to help the Rendille translation team with exegesis, and other aspects of their translation work. Lynne developed a literacy programme for the Rendille including a teacher's guide, and is now writing an autobiography.
Sizukiwe joined WSA in 2023 as the Psalms that Sing Administrator and Intern Project Facilitator. As the PtS Administrator, she provides operational support to the project and its stakeholders. As a Project Facilitator intern, she shadows the senior Field Coordinator to learn and develop the skills necessary for the role.
