In February, some of the Wycliffe SA team met with fellow believers in Johannesburg's Chinatown to hear their stories about sharing the Gospel among their own Chinese community. The Pastor recounted his testimony, telling of the hardships he and other Christians have endured for their faith. It was a reminder that for many around the world, belief in Jesus comes at a high cost. We also heard of the amazing ways God has been at work to protect His people and build His Kingdom. We spent time in prayer for each other and the local community. It was a moving experience to meet others of an entirely different nation and language, yet feel the bond that comes from our shared belonging to God and serving His Kingdom on earth.
