Why Bible Translation?

God calls us in many different ways, and to many different things. We asked some of our Wycliffe family to share with us why they decided to get involved with the work of Bible Translation.  This work involves many different people and skills, and is essential to know Christ more.  "Throughout the years, I've seen how the Word of God has changed the lives of so many people, how it has transformed so many communities, through the work of Bible translation. And it's such a huge inspiration for me, to continue serving God in this way."

Hope in the story of Joseph

The story of Joseph is one with which we can all relate to, given our current global situation of lockdown and restrictions. Many are unsure of what the future will hold, but one thing we can all hold onto is the hope that we have in Christ. Join us over the coming weeks as we delve deeper into the story of Joseph and his journey of having hope in God, despite many unexpected changes.   Find the series (and more) on our YouTube channel or follow the stories below: 1) Gen 37:1-11 2) Gen 37:12-36

Weekly Word - God's Word Alive & Active

God's Word is "alive and active. Sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit" (Hebrews 4:12), constantly speaking into our lives. God speaks directly through His Word to "teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives" (2 Timothy 3:16).  Listen to how God's Word has been speaking into the lives of some of our Wycliffe family recently: Psalm 16:8 John 16:33 Romans 8:28 Galatians 5:1 Phil. 2:4-7; Is. 41:0-10 Philippians 4:6-7 Contentment

Bible Storytelling (Easter 2020)

Over the Easter period we have been following the story of Jesus through Matthew, as he makes his way to the cross and then to ressurection! 40 days later, the Holy Spirit was poured out on the early Church. God is intimately involved in our lives, the source of salvation, "the initiator and perfector of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2), and He continues to be with us today.   Find the series (and more) on our YouTube channel or follow the Easter stories below: 1) Matthew 21:1-11 2) Matthew 26:17-30 3) Matthew 26:36-46 4) Matthew 26:47-56 5) Matthew 27:11-26 6) Matthew 27:35-46; 51-54 7) Matthew 28:1-20 PENTECOST: Acts 2.1-14
